Hello! My name is Madeleine Fink and I graduated from the University of Mary with a BA in English Education in Spring of 2021.
I grew up in the Twin Cities area. Growing up so close to the cities has impacted my worldview as my community is made up of people from all different backgrounds. Beyond my experiences in the Twin Cities area, my family likes to travel in the summers to places all across the United States which has also expanded my worldview to encounter people who are outside of my home community.
My family and the values they have instilled in me have shaped me into the person I have become. I deeply love my family and my Catholic faith. It is from these two sources which I derive my strength, compassion, and inner peace.
I love to read and write! My favorite book changes constantly because I love learning about new topics and ideas; I want to share this love of learning about new topics through literature with my students as well. I am also an amateur photographer mostly of flowers (the headers of flowers are my own photos). I enjoy getting to know and connect with new people, and I am excited to get to work with a group of educators who also want to develop a love of learning in their classrooms.
